| PDFedit is not the first tool for GNU / Linux can change. Pdf file but it is arguably the first truly usable, that does not use shortcuts to get his results, although it reached only to version 0.2 .5, PDFedit is already a practical solution for manipulating pages and text in PDF files and can save changes directly, without passing through temporary PostScript file or the like. With PDFedit you can edit the text, rotate it, including new font and in general perform all those small changes that may be required after the creation of a PDF file, partly because of young age, the application shows a variety of limitations, both in terms of functionality (not recommended for large-scale operations editing) and the out graphic / functional: the crashes are not uncommon and the interface is at least eccentric. Despite this PDFedit is definitely one of those projects to watch. |
